Kakyū is the lost princess that the Three Lights (Sailor Starlights) were searching for with their songs. She is the princess of the planet Kinmoku and leader of the Starlights. When Galaxia destroyed her planet, she fled to Earth in search of the "Light of Hope", and also to hide from Galaxia while she regenerated. While in her recuperation period, she resided within an Incense Burner that Chibi Chibi found, and carried around with her. whilst in the burner, Kakyū's energy appeared in the form of red butterflies, and with a scent of fragrant olives. This led Yaten and Taiki to confront Chibi Chibi to hand over the burner. After Kakyū revealed herself, Galaxia attacked to steal her True Starseed. It was said that Princess Kakyū possessed the same power that Eternal Sailor Moon had which gave her the ability to return Phage to their previous forms, but this power was never seen being used. Princess Kakyū also has the ability to create a temporary invisible force field to protect herself (and others) from enemy attack.
