Perle is one of the Fairies that protects the dreams of children. His older brother, Poupelin, was lost under the seemingly sweet ideals of Badiane along with the other two fairies, Banane and Orangeat. He then met a sweet, and interesting kid, Chibiusa. They spoke of sweets and mothers that loved their children. She gave him her special, hand-made cookies before they parted. Later, Poupelin was stealing more children away with his song of a land of sweets. Like the pied-piper he led them to his ship. When Chibi Moon was taken as well he joined with the Sailor Soldiers in hopes to save her and stop his brother. After helping Sailor Moon destroy the Black Dream Hole, Perle gave Chibi Moon his pipe as a sign of his loving friendship.
