「お札 Ofuda」 These are the scrolls that Rei Hino uses to banish evil spirits. Rei also uses these when in her Sailor Mars form. To activate their special power Rei yells out the phrase "Evil Spirits Disperse!". They also play a role in her "Fire Soul Bird" attack. |

「変身ペン Henshin Pen」 This powerful item was given to Rei by Luna. This was used by Rei to transform into Sailor Mars. The top half of this Transformation Pen is made from pure gold, while the bottom half is made from a red colored solid metal. Once the words "Mars Power Make-up!" are yelled, the top the pen would activate. The Mars symbol would light up and rapidly spin, while the sphere behind it turned red. The streams of fire that transform Rei into Sailor Mars originate from this sphere. |

「戦闘服 Sentōfuku」 This is Sailor Mars' outfit when she has transformed. It consists of star earrings, high heels, short skirt, gloves etc. When becoming Super Sailor Mars, a star decoration is fixed to her choker, the bow on the back of her skirt gets longer, & the shape of her earrings are changed. |

「ティアラ Tiara」 When Rei transforms into Sailor Mars this would be placed on her forehead. This disappears to reveal her planetary symbol, to focus her personal energy when using an ultimate planetary attack, or when transferring her planet power to another Sailor Soldier. |

「通信機 Tsūshinki」 This the hand-held communication devices used by the Sailor Soldiers to help contact each other. They are high-tech devices with both an audio and visual component. |

Kata no Tsūshinki」 This is the replacement for the original Communication Device. It is as upgraded version which is easier to access. These were given to the Sailor Soldiers by Luna and Artemis, to help them contact each other. Each has their planetary symbol on the inside of it and flashes when an alert is coming through, or when only the audio track is being sent. The video component is viewed through the inside of the upper panel. |
