In the dubbed version, they don't even mention that this is the same Crystal that Nephlite used when searching for the Silver Crystal. |

I think because of this ambiguoity though of the word "Maboroshi", the DiC writer team decided to just use a word that would give the impression that this stone was extremely powerful, and thus the term "Imperium" was born which relates to great power, or "sphere of power". |

「妖魔 Yōma」 E: Negamonster / Monster T: Yoma usually translates as "apparition" or "ghost" and usually in anime series it's used as a term to refer to a monster, and in Sailor Moon's case, it's used to refer to these monsters from the Dark Kingdom. Because of their choice of the word "Yoma" DiC would usually refer to them as "monsters" or "servants", while the Sailor Scouts would call them "Negamonsters". It was never determined whether or not that term was made up by the Scouts or not, and that's the reason the term "Yoma" is used in Sailor Moon resource guide (although never in the series). |
