Raye Hino is a mysterious shrine girl who lives at the Sacred Temple on Cherry Hill, with her grandfather. She has special psychic powers and is able to do fire readings. In the beginning Raye's temple was suspected as being the base for the new threat from the Negaverse. Serena later finds out that she was also a destined warrior, the Sailor Scout of Mars, Sailor Mars. Raye has a fiery temper, and Serena is all she needs to to start a fight. These fights with Serena are usually over silly things, such as; taking to long to save her, or Serena's excessive whining. Even though Raye always finds a reason to yell at Serena, deep down she really thinks of Serena as being one of her best friends.
